That’s not really true. They rushed through a bailout package in the

Spring, and they’ve been making offers for a new agreement. I personally think the dems should have taken what they could get pre-election. Yeah, it wasn’t all the dems thought was necessary, but it would have been better than the nothing that the country got.

But McConnell’s special talent for keeping anything ever from coming to a vote is just about politics, just like his current support for Trump’s attempt to destroy American democracy. The intransigence is not about honest philosophical differences. IMO anyway.
